The names of the members of the board of the British Azerbaijani Law Association, established in 2013 in London with the support of the Law Society of England and Wales, the Embassy of the Republic of Azerbaijan in the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland and Azerbaijan Lawyers Confederation have been declared: chairman of the Association - Adrian Hughes QC (39 Essex Street), vice-chairman - Ravan Maharramov (legal consultant at Withers LLP), secretary - Rufat Gadimli (White & Case), and treasurer - Ian Thompson (FTI Consulting).
Members of the management committee: Mr.Anar Bagirov, the managing partner of BHM Baku Law Centre, Mr. Ilgar Mehti, the director of “Ekvita” LLC, Mr.Farhad Mirzayev, senior partner at BM Morrison Partners, Chris Coffin (Withers LLP), Nigel Jones (BP), and Emma Edhem (Turkish British Chamber of Commerce and Industry).
It should be noted that the British Azerbaijani Law Association has been launched with the aim to develop links between lawyers in the United Kingdom and the Republic of Azerbaijan, encourage and facilitate the exchange of best practice and legal experiences with between legal professions in both countries
